FAVOURITE GRANOLA RECIPE

I love making my own granola! Maybe it's because I'm allergic to nuts and most granolas have nuts in them or its just because I love the smell of cinnamon, vanilla and honey (among other things) roasting in the oven. Either way I love it, I have a recipe I'll share below but I'm not usually one to follow recipes, I add more of this... less of this... swap this.. So when you make this granola get creative!!

2 cups of Oats

1/2 cup of chopped almonds

1/4 cup seeds of choice

2 Tbsp of honey

2 Tbsp of coconut oil

1 tsp vanilla

pinch of salt

cinnamon Bake at 300F - 350F for about 12-14 ish minutes. Give it a bit of a stir half way through.

I almost always double the recipe when I'm making it... it doesn't seem to last long if I don't. If you're not allergic to nuts add whatever other nut or nut butter in there you like, other thing I've added are hemp hearts, chia seeds and swapped honey for maple syrup! I like my granola a little more crispy or as some would maybe call it burnt, so I usually put it under the broiler for a bit as well.

Then serve it up on some yogurt, my go to is plain greek yogurt, add whatever toppings you like and ENJOY!!

Let me know how you got creative with the recipe!

YUMMMMMM!
